A little about me.

I've been fortunate to have had an exciting and varied career. Certainly never dull!

I started in the Royal Navy, and if someone had told me then where life would take me, I probably wouldn't have believed them. Worldwide military operations, healthcare, the United Nations, not-for-profit organisations, the Middle East and eventually my own business. There have been some extraordinary experiences along the way.

I've worked with remarkable people, encountered situations nobody could have planned for, and made decisions that seemed perfectly sensible at the time. Some worked out better than others!

Looking back, what stays with me isn't so much the positions I've held, but the people I've met, the situations we've faced and what I've learned from them.

And perhaps the most important thing I've learned is that there's usually more than one way of looking at a problem. That's where judgement and balance become essential.
